The OAI Online website that has been hosted by the OAI Coordinating Center at the University of California San Francisco the past 12 years has been taken down.

All OAI data will continue to be available by accessing a new website that is hosted by the National Institutes of Health. The URL for this new website is: https://oai.nih.gov.

OAI investigators at the OAI Coordinating Center, University of California San Francisco (OAICoordinatingCenter@psg.ucsf.edu) remain open to collaboration with other investigators on projects using OAI data and images; we look forward to hearing from you!

Once again, thank you for your continued interest in and support of the Osteoarthritis Initiative!

What are the benefits of an account?

You must have an account to be able to access the Data & Documentation section of the website. This section contains the downloadable datasets and the accompanying documentation. Having an account is a service to you. By providing us with contact information, we will be able to notify you about important events regarding the study and the data. All users with an account will be notified via e-mail of errata, new releases, and new features. This will help us to assure that you are conducting your research with the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Why should I read and accept the terms of the Data Use Agreement?

Acceptance of the terms of the Data Use Agreement (you must be logged on to view it) is required before you can download datasets or analyze data online using the DataExplorer.

What will happen to my personal information?

Your personal information will remain private and be used only for the purposes of the OAI study.
